Indagare's favorite non-profit educational outfit offers wonderful nature tours, canoe trips and hikes for groups and individuals. You can join one of their scheduled weekend tours or hire a naturalist guide for yourself. All of the walks – some of which include a bit of paddling as well – focus on the wildlife of coastal Georgia but range in length from two hours to a full day and cover everything from River Swamps & Reptiles, Salt Marsh Walks and Wild Island Explorations to Exploring the Night Sky and an Urban Walk in the city. Many guides are university professors or parks professionals who love sharing their passion for the outdoors, biology and education.
