Itmad-ud-Daulah

State Highway 39, Moti Bagh, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282006, India

A jewel of Mughal architecture that predates the Taj Mahal, Itmad-ud-Daulah is a small monument on the banks of the Yamuna river that was built by the stepmother of Shah Jahan. For those who are spending two nights in Agra, Indagare can arrange for a guided visit before sunset one evening as well as a trip to the Moon Garden that faces the Taj.
