Rynek Główny 44, 33-332 Kraków, Poland
This historic center of Krakow is one of the most beautiful areas in the city and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The center of Polish political life for centuries, it is home to important monuments including St. Mary’s Basilica (a can’t-miss Gothic church that is particularly famous for its intricate wooden altarpiece), Cloth Hall, the Rynek Główny (main square) and the Royal Road, which is the coronation route that links Wawel Castle to the old city walls. The market square is particularly atmospheric, with markets, horse-drawn carriages and lots of restaurants with outdoor seating in warmer months.
