Praça da Luz, 2 - Bom Retiro, São Paulo - SP, 01120-010, Brazil

This neoclassical monolith, the city's oldest, is São Paulo's other important museum (after MASP) and is especially notable for its collection of Brazilian (Portinari, Di Calvacanti) and Paulista art. Founded in 1905, it's heavy on 19th-century paintings and sculptures and is especially pleasant for its outdoor café overlooking Parque da Luz, a lovely swath of green in downtown's concrete jungle.
