Every Saturday, several of Chiang Rai’s city blocks close to traffic for the night market. While most products sold here resemble those you might find on Canal Street in New York City and have a heavy Chinese influence, the vibrant market gives an insight into how locals shop. There are also great food stands inside, so be sure to arrive hungry.
