Shobak Castle
Shobak Castle, Shobak, Jordan
Shobak Castle was built by the Crusaders in 1115 and was later occupied and expanded by the Mamluks. It sits atop a rocky mountain surrounded by the sprawling fruit orchards below near the town of Shobak. Visitors can walk around the castle, exploring its ruins and enjoying the views.
