Located 20 minutes by car from downtown Tokyo, Shunka-en BONSAI Museum feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of the Japanese capital. A serene oasis, the museum is also a bonsai workshop and garden, where you can view trees that cost over $1 million USD and are more than a century old. The main building museum has 15 display spaces, tea ceremony rooms and a studio that offers bonsai-making lessons.
