Snorkeling

Galapagos

While the Galapagos shine as an example of isolated life on land, the life aquatic will be the memorable part of most trips to the archipelago. Above the surface, the islands’ animals have a relaxed personality, but underneath, they come alive with curiosity, and it’s here that travelers will get to have the most iconic of Galapagos experiences: swimming with sea lions, sharks, penguins, manta rays and hundreds of fish.

There’s no such thing as a “best spot” for snorkeling. Certain animals show up more in certain places, of course (Rabida is the best place to see manta rays, while Wolf and Darwin attract the most hammerhead sharks), but each location offers an incredible experience.
