Recommends Liza Graves, the founder of high-end villa rental company Beautiful Places:

This park in Kenwood is a wonderful place to hike, with trails that are good for kids and adults alike. You can also go horseback riding with Triple Creek Horse Outfit or visit the Robert Ferguson Observatory. The Observatory has two very powerful telescopes that are open to the public one or two days a month; the docents are amazing. A lesser-known way to access the observatory is to rent the group campground, which accommodates up to 50 people, through Reserve America, as well as pay a fee to a private viewing of the observatory, which is adjacent to the campground. We did this for a birthday party and the private viewing was a big hit.
