Estrada do Cais Comercial, Ria Formosa, 8000 Faro Municipality, Portugal

With over 600 miles of coastline, Portugal is quickly establishing itself as a surfing hotspot. Swells are best in the spring, autumn and winter and can reach well over 15 feet. Within a 20-mile radius of Lisbon there are several great options, but the country’s surf hub is on the western coast centered around Nazare. Members who are experienced surfers or beginners can contact the Bookings Team to help organize a surfing adventure.
