Selina's passion for travel was first inspired when her parents took her to visit their home countries—Vietnam and China—for the first time. Authentic experiences like drinking Vietnamese drip coffee with locals on Cát Bà Island and learning the art of haggling at the famous night markets in Mong Kok completely changed what travel meant to Selina, by exposing her to a culture and a way of life so different from her own. Selina's desire to explore the world truly blossomed after she graduated college, and, since then, Selina has traveled to multiple destinations such as Tulum, Japan, and South Korea. Her favorite travel experience was when she embarked on her very first solo trip to Japan, where she experienced an onsen in the quiet town of Kawazu, explored the ancient temples in Kyoto and indulged in Japanese cuisine in the busy streets of Osaka. Prior to joining Indagare, Selina graduated from Rutgers University with a major in Supply Chain, and she started her career at Amazon as an Area Manager in Operations.
