With just four tented rooms, its own pool and fantastic privacy, Little Mombo has a loyal following of honeymooners and couples looking for the ultimate luxurious African safari. The camp is located on Mombo island, just a short walk (over raised walkways) from Mombo, the exclusive property that occupies truly prime real estate; it seems perennially ensconced within a herd of animals. From each of the tents (outfitted with ensuite bathrooms, outdoor showers and safari-style canvas and brass furnishings), guests have nearly uninterrupted views of the plains, which stretch for miles into the distance. When not enjoying the view from their private terrace, guests can unwind in the main lounge, sun at the pool or indulge at the spa. There is also a gym for those who want to maintain their fitness routine while on vacation.
