Owned by the same people who run lovely pottery shop Spin and high-end Japanese eatery Shintori, People 7 is a cool bar in the French Concession. The design is edgy (exposed concrete, minimalist-chic tables and chairs, creative cocktails), but the ambience is laid-back and congenial. A good spot for a pre-dinner drink, especially if you’re headed to Shintori.
