A first time must for any visitor to Phuket is exploring the sea caves, or hongs,of Phang Nga Bay. Depart from the Phuket’s Royal Marinain the late afternoon after the tourist crowds have gone and motor out to some of the most dramatic islands in the Andaman Sea on a traditional Thai fishing boat. With an expert guide, spend the later part of the afternoon exploring the caves,taking the time to swim, snorkel and discover as you go. Enjoy a spicy (as is customary of the southern provinces) and authentically Thai dinner onboard while the blazing sun sets behind the limestone cliff islands of this jungle-like national park.
