Gyp Sea Beach Club

Located on picturesque Pelican Beach in St. Jean, Gyp Sea beach club opened in December of 2020 and has quickly become a St. Barth’s hot spot that’s just a stroll away from Nikki Beach, Pearl Beach and Eden Rock. This boho-chic beach club, launched by Joceyln Sibuet, owner of Villa Marie, offers delicious food and drinks, as well as a myriad of activities to while away a day—whether you opt for paddleboarding and snorkeling or lounging and a massage in your very own cabana. A leisurely lunch might include an array of barbecue options as well as seafood and lighter seasonal choices. Tables in the sand have beautiful views of the beach, and the music and themed cocktails at the bar make for an easygoing yet lively atmosphere. While Gyp Sea attracts a chic young crowd, families will also find a lot to like here: Parents can enjoy long lunches or reserve a cabana (which are available for rent) while their kids play nearby on the beach or explore the turquoise water with seabobs, paddle boards, snorkel gear and more. Bonus: Guests at Villa Marie, set in the hills of Columbier, can also have their day at the beach.
