TBA 21: Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary

Founded and run by Francesca von Hapsburg—yes, one of those Hapsburgs—TBA 21 is a gallery and exhibition space that celebrates international contemporary art. Exhibitions and events have featured works by mega stars Olafur Eliasson, Ai Weiwei, Cindy Sherman and more. The institution utilizes its location in the beautiful and leafy Augarten park to its advantage, hosting events and art performances outdoors when the weather is warm. There is talk of the institution moving to Zurich, so the time to visit is now.
