Supersense joins the ranks of Vienna’s most eccentric concept stores with its duel purpose café and camera store. You’re as likely to find vegan sausage as you are a vintage Polaroid camera at the second district shop, which sells a seemingly indiscriminate array of goods (brass lamps and notebooks fall into that category). But looks can be deceiving; the owner created the one-of-a-kind boutique as a sort of sensory experience, one that engages the shopper in more than one way. Whether you are there to pickup a new guitar (yes, those are also on offer) or not, Supersense boasts a trove of analogue oddities and visiting is an experience you won’t have anywhere else. Don’t forget to pick up a slice of apricot cake on your way out.
