Itinerary Highlights
Exploring the Dalmatian coast by boat, meandering through ancient cities and learning about the country’s complex history. Having a great local guide is key in Croatia, and Indagare can help with special access to museums, customized culinary tours, special access and drivers.
Day 1: Zagreb
Explore the historic capital with a guided tour through the heart of the city, admiring the impressive architecture and preserved medieval walls. Spend the afternoon at your leisure in the charming cobblestone streets full of boutiques, cafes and bookshops.
Days 2-3: Plitvice & Split
Travel to Split and en route, stop for a guided tour of the Plitvice Lakes, the most beautiful national park in Croatia, to enjoy the unspoiled scenery of the area’s waterfalls and forests. The following day, take a sightseeing tour of Split, a UNESCO World Heritage town that was the former home of Roman emperor Diocletian.
Day 4: Hvar & Korcula
Take a motor boat to Korcula Island and on the way, stop for a swim on the Pakleni Islands, a breathtaking archipelago with beautiful bays. Upon arrival, get your bearings with a private walking tour of the Old Town of Korcula. This secluded town is known as the hometown of Marco Polo. Your stroll will take you to Polo’s childhood home. Return by boat to your hotel in Hvar.
Days 5-6: Dubrovnik
Spend these days exploring Dubrovnik, an important maritime port that has always been a cultural metropolis. As one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Dubrovnik owes its special charm to its historic monuments, which testify to its rich history. Dubrovnik also is full of charming cafés, boutiques and local curiosities, that sit hidden in the intricate network of the cobblestone streets.
