Fiskebar is located in Copenhagen’s Meatpacking District, which unlike its New York equivalent, still functions within its original purpose. Upon arrival, guests pull up to a full-on scene in a parking lot complete with oil drum fires and St-Tropez-style beach chairs. The crowd is beautiful, young and everyone seems to have gotten the memo that skinny black jeans and flannel shirts are the only acceptable uniform. The restaurant offers some of the freshest seafood in town but without the Michelin-star pricing to go with it.
