Palazzo Castelluccio

Palazzo Castelluccio, Via Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour, Noto, Province of Syracuse, Italy

See Website

The town of Noto is known as one of the most beautiful Baroque towns in existence, and its Baroque buildings are impressive, but the town is also super charming. Not to be missed is Palazzo Castelluccio, an amazing 18th-century Sicilian palazzo of more than 100 rooms that was bought by French filmmaker Jean-Louis Remilleux. He lives in a portion and has restored another section, which he has filled with his collection of art and antiques to astonishing effect. Frankly, it is even more of a wow than Hotel de la Marine in Paris—and it sees far fewer visitors.
