Chiarastella Cattana

On a quiet square in San Marco, near the Palazzo Grassi, sits the boutique of stylish Chiarastella Cattana. After spending years working in Milan as a fabric designer, Cattana opened this airy, gallery-like space in a former 17^th-century scuola that is devoted to exquisite Italian textiles and crafts. Her limited-edition designs, which are all made in mills in the Dolomites, adorn London’s chic club 5 Hertford Street and are custom ordered by decorators around the world. Here, you can find her “ready-to-wear” line, including pillows, coverlets, linens and even fabulous coats, along with glass and ceramic lines from some of her favorite local artisans.
