Łazienki Park, 01-999 Warszawa, Poland
The largest park in Poland, the almost 200-acre Lazienki Park was designed in the 17th century and has three stunning gardens: Royal, Belvedere and Modernist. Meaning “baths” in English, Lazienki is filled with peacocks, swans and more, but its most notable attraction is the Palace on the Isle, a residence that seemingly lies in the middle of a lake and is one of the best examples of neoclassical architecture in Poland. The former home of the last Polish king, Stanisław August, it now houses a museum with the royal collection of paintings.
