The Adamson flourishes under the guidance of Scott Davies, a finalist on Master Chef in 2013. The upscale spot resides in the town’s former post office, and is one of the most elegant offerings in St Andrews, perfect for a special occasion. There is a daily set menu with two or three courses, as well as an a la carte menu serving “Adamson Favorites,” like sweet potato and cheddar gnocchi with artichoke, and confit lamb with cauliflower cheese puree and braised lettuce. It is a must for serious foodies, but families will also find a well-rounded kids menu and plenty of options for picky eaters. The cocktails are also creative and well executed.
