Review
Located a stone’s throw from the central market and Old Town of Hoi An, the Anantara is a wonderful option for those who like being in the middle of the action. The hotel has 93 rooms located in two colonial-style peach colored buildings along the Thu Bon River, and they half have direct waterfront views. The hotel feels like a small oasis away from the chaos of town with guests lounging poolside, reading books by the riverbank and sipping afternoon cocktails at the hotel’s main bar.
All of the rooms and suites follow the same layout, with the junior suites and hotel’s signature suite being larger versions of the starting deluxe category. The color palette is earthy with splashes of orange and blues in the pillows, while the resort itself is a more neutral peach tone. If visiting in the fall, staying near town is a much more desirable location than the beachfront properties.
