Review
Spanning over one third of Canouan Island, Canouan Estate is a sprawling, 1,200-acre complex and it offers the nicest accommodations in the area. The property boasts 14 spectacular villas, a championship golf course, tennis courts, Kids’ Club, white-sand beaches, an array of restaurants and the Mandarin Oriental Canouan, a five-star boutique hotel.
While Canouan Estate has been around for years (it was once owned by Raffles), it had a transformative renovation in 2016, which ushered in the beachfront Pink Sands Club, extensively refurbished villas, several restaurants and an opulent aesthetic. Despite all the modernizations, the estate still emphasizes the natural beauty the island is so well known for.
The 14 villas range from one- to eight-bedrooms, and all sit high above the beach, tucked amongst the lush hillside. The accommodations offer spectacular views of the rolling hills and Canouan Island’s famous crystalline waters.
All guests at Canouan Estate and the Pink Sands Club have access to each property’s amenities, plus natural splendors like secret hidden coves and pristine beaches. Not to mention the superb Pink Sands Club spa, which features two over-water, glass-bottomed bungalows and nine treatment rooms.
