Review
Located just a few minutes from the village of St. Tropez, Cheval Blanc commands a beachfront location and its own stretch of sand. The most luxurious option in St. Tropez proper, Cheval Blanc feels like a private, intimate oasis away from the crowds, despite its location just a 10- to 15-minute walk from the port.
The contemporary design of the property was imagined by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, featuring a primarily navy and white color palette that perfectly suits the hotel's seaside surroundings. There are 19 rooms, five junior suites, four suites and two duplex suites, and most come equipped with a terrace. Many rooms face the sea and enjoy beautiful views of the water (or the village).
On warm afternoons, guests can choose between swimming in the hotel’s pool or the crystal clear waters of the sea. The spa is impeccably designed, with four treatment rooms offering Guerlain treatments and massages specially developed for Cheval Blanc St. Tropez. The hotel also has a fitness center, Orchidée Salon and hammam.
The hotel’s lunch restaurant, La Terrasse, is nestled under century-old pine trees and, come dinnertime, turns into the three-Michelin-starred La Vague d’Or. If you’re not staying at Cheval Blanc, both restaurants are worth a trip to the property.
Who Should Stay
Couples and families who love the scene of St. Tropez but want to stay slightly removed from the crowds and enjoy direct beach access.
