The David Kempinski Tel Aviv is superbly located at the center of the Tel Aviv Promenade, directly across from the beach.

The 34-story hotel is made up of  56 suites and 194 guest rooms. Accommodations are modern in style, and feature large marble bathrooms with a walk-in rain shower and a separate soaking tub. The highlight of most rooms: the sea views as seen from floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to create a Juliette balcony. Deluxe rooms and suites also allow guests access to the Horizon Lounge on the 22nd floor. Here they can experience and benefit from a more relaxed and expedited check-in process, as well as complimentary food and drinks  throughout the day.

The Kempinski has five different restaurants on property. Sereia, the main restaurant, is open for breakfast (with an impressive buffet), lunch and dinner. For dinner, menus here focus on seafood, and the restaurant sets up a large ice bath in the center of the space to showcase the day’s fresh catches. Cohiba Atmosphere, the Kempinski’s swanky Cigar Lounge, is for guests who want to enjoy stiff cocktails or Cuban cigars. Perhaps our favorite venue is the pool bar on the fifth floor, featuring an infinity pool surrounded by spectacular Mediterranean views. The pool’s shaded restaurant offers Latin-fusion bites such as Peruvian ceviche and lamb quesadillas.

As one of the newest hotels in town, the Kempinski still has a few kinks to work out (incorrect signage, long wait times at check-in, missing towel hooks in some of the bathrooms) but these are all easy fixes. It is apparent that the staff strives to provide five-star service and the location in the heart of Tel Aviv is unbeatable.
