Review
This historic wine and olive oil estate combines a beautifully restored 100-year-old-plus farmhouse and guest cottages with modern amenities. Drive up the long driveway into the nearly 100-acre property, and immediately you leave the bustling island vibe behind and are immersed in a quieter side of Mallorca. Much like its sister Mallorcan Unico property, The Lodge, the compound encompasses vineyards, olive and lemon groves and an organic orchard. Within this natural hillside eden is the main building, with its traditional white-washed walls and beamed ceilings and the renowned Jacaranda restaurant. There are 25 rooms and suites throughout the property, many with outdoor spaces, minimally decorated with soothing neutral tones. Wellness options abound—the Unico Spa with a sauna and hammam, mountain and electric bikes for rent, five miles of private running paths and complimentary yoga.
Jacaranda restaurant, with its olive tree terrace view, takes its culinary direction from Oscar Valasco, a National Gastronomy Award-winner recognized with two Michelin stars. Valasco elevates the field-to-table concept with a seasonal menu showcasing ingredients from the hotel’s garden, orchard and vineyard. The menu also features an extensive wine list, including several of Finca Serena’s own.
