Review

Set on 11 acres of beachfront, this sprawling property is composed of three clusters of Spanish-style Mediterranean architecture. The heart of Grace Bay Club is the so-called Hotel, with 21 guest suites in a mansion. The Villas sits to the west and features larger suites with multiple connecting room options. The eastern-most hotel area, the Estate, functions as a hotel-within-a-hotel and offers the most service and privacy. All rooms, no matter whether they are in the Hotel, Villas or Estate, boast ocean views.

There are 38 family-friendly residences set in four-story Villas buildings, which were the first to receive full soft renovations by celebrity designer Thom Felicia. His style is sophisticated and fashionable, picking up colors and patterns from the Turks & Caicos beaches and historic architecture. The one-, two- and three-bedroom suites are spacious—the smallest measures 600 square feet, the largest Penthouse is 4,800 square feet—and come with state-of-the-art open kitchens (a private chef and pre-arrival grocery shopping can be arranged) and washer-dryer units. Priced starting at $1.25 million, they sold out before construction was even complete, and all are now in the rental pool of Grace Bay Club. The family-friendly side of the resort has its own pool, restaurant and swim-up bar.

The adults-only Hotel area, set in the oldest of the resort's buildings, does not allow guests under the age of 16 and is the most romantic option on property. The accommodations, which all feature kitchenettes, are spacious, sophisticated in style and range from junior suites to two-bedroom options. In front of this section sits Infiniti Bar and Infiniti Restaurant, as well as a chic lounge area set around an outdoor fire pit.

The Estate, with 22 rooms including 4,500 square-foot, four-bedroom residences, has its own pool, swath of beach and casual dining outlet, Krave. Updated by Thom Felicia, these units feel airy, chic and stylish, and many boast large terraces with stunning ocean views.

While the Grace Bay Club is home to a nice spa, those looking for a treat should book a massage at the stunning Palms, just a short drive away.

In spite of, or perhaps because of, its separation between adults and children, Grace Bay Club has long been known as one of the most family-friendly resorts in the Caribbean. The staff at the kids’ club is energetic, fun and can take kids on tours such as visiting nearby nature reserves and snorkeling excursions, though camping on the property is among the most popular activities (complete with a campfire and s’mores, of course).

Residences, located to the west near Wymara Resort, are available and an ideal choice for larger families or groups of friends looking for privacy. Contact the Indagare bookings team for more information on the beachfront villas.

Who Should Stay

Grace Bay is best for families who want an excellent kids’ club as well as some adults-only amenities to enjoy while their children are occupied. Couples can also stay in the Hotel for a romantic escape away from the families at the Villas.
