Hotel Es Cucons is an idyllic country house hotel in the middle of fields full of almond trees, near the tiny village of Santa Agnes in the rural Northwest of the island. Run by two Spanish sisters with their husbands, the hotel has an attention to detail and service that is second to none, while still feeling laid back and very relaxed. The property offers a wonderful buffet breakfast and lovely al fresco lunches, as well as a more formal set menu for dinner every evening. The rooms are pretty and comfortable. Each is decorated differently, but all have terraces to wile away lazy afternoons. Note that families with children are welcome here, but their numbers are restricted at any one time so that the noise around the pool is limited. The relaxation center is extensive; it features a sauna and hot tub and there are a host of masseuses and instructors for spa treatments and yoga classes.
