Located in the chic 8th arrondissement, Hôtel Grand Powers pays homage to the joy of living in the 1920s and the glamour of Art Deco. With every detail thoughtfully considered, the property reflects the intersection of three European styles: Parisian elegance, Italian design and British coziness.
The 50-room Grand Powers has a cozy, boutique feel, and a particularly beautiful top-floor suite. Half of the rooms have Eiffel Tower views, and 40 have private balconies with cast-iron balustrades in the Haussmann style. The bright accommodations have high, grand ceilings, marble fireplaces, herringbone parquet floors imported from Hungary and gilded over-mantle mirrors with hidden televisions. The hotel is also full of playful contrasts: linear geometry and round shapes; pastels and deep jewel tones; precious woods and velvet plush.
Beyond its enchanting design, Grand Powers captures the heart of its visitors through its friendly staff and high-touch service. The hotel is also very accommodating to children, and there are several adjoining rooms reserved for families. On-property amenities include a well-equipped fitness room and the luxurious Thala Spa, which has an immense jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and treatment room by Dermalogica. The hotel's restaurant, Café 52, is highly acclaimed and serves dishes that use high-quality, fresh ingredients. Reservations are not required and it's open all day, making an excellent choice for a full meal or a small bite before venturing out into the city.
