Review

A family-owned and operated boutique hotel, Hotel Jackson sits in the heart of Jackson Hole town (not to be confused with Teton Village at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort). The 55-room property has a predominantly black, white and brown color palette and a contemporary design that is still undeniably western, with stone and wood walls, fireplaces and leather couches.

Each of the rooms and suites is tastefully decorated—think cowhide pillows, plaid and fur throws and rugs with western patterns—and equipped with amenities such as Geneva Bluetooth Sound Systems and natural gas fireplaces. Several suites have Juliette balconies and mountain views.

Hotel Jackson has various on-site amenities such as a fitness center, rooftop hot tub, cozy bar area and on-property Mediterranean restaurant, Figs. There is also the Sacagawea Library, notably named after the woman who aided the Lewis and Clark expedition, which has a curated collection of books and artwork celebrating the wild west.

While this hotel is ideal for those seeking easy access to the shops and restaurants of Jackson Hole town, travelers may be deceived by the obvious ski slopes serving as the town’s backdrop. It is important to note that the ski mountain in Jackson Hole town is actually Snow King Resort, while the slopes Jackson Hole Mountain Resort are a 20-minute drive away. Hotel Jackson’s shuttle runs between the property and Teton Village and the base of Jackson Hole Mountain three times per day.
