Review
This 15-suite boutique hotel is all about personalized service and the friendly team caters to your heart’s every desire. Case in point: an iPad is delivered upon arrival to your room, there are always extra sunglasses and hats on hand and there’s a 24-hour shuttle service to the beach and to St.-Tropez.
The comfortable, spacious rooms are designed in cream-colored wood and stone. Each suite, which range in size, feature sitting rooms stocked with glossy art books and choice wines in a mini wine cellar. They’re also each named after illustrious muses through time, such as Grace of Monaco. Serenely nestled in the garden of the hotel lies the spa, La Tente, with two treatment rooms and designed like an African safari camp. We recommend the signature Pablo, a deep massage using warmed Provençal herbal poultices.
The terrace poolside restaurant features a tasty market-fresh Mediterranean lunch and the dinner menu includes favorites like Niçoise salad, scallops with truffle risotto, lamb with ratatouille and potatoes and sea bass with rosemary and fennel. The latest feature, a prix-fixe poolside “Sunshine” lunch menu, has proven very popular (non-hotel guests who book a table can also use the pool). Don’t miss their house wine, from the long-established Château des Marres vineyard next door.
