Review

For a once-in-a-lifetime experience, Indagare can arrange a private tented camp stay in the Omani desert for our members. Each group has three Bedouin-style tents, with a living room, bedroom and bathroom tent. The living room is outfitted with couches, pillows, blankets and a chest full of curated books and games. The bedroom tent is comfortably appointed with a luxury king or twin beds, all with fine linens. The bathroom tent has a hot bucket shower and luxe bath amenities.

Guests will have a dedicated chef to whip up multi-course meals of any cuisine of their choice, and Bedouin-style couches and tables can be set up inside the tent or under the stars, surrounded by candles.

During the day, a variety of activities can be arranged such as swimming in beautiful sinkholes, riding camels, dune bashing, meeting a Bedouin family for a coffee ceremony and sand boarding. At the camp, guests will have access to boards and sleds, as well as 4x4s upon request for exploring the dunes.

Who Should Stay

Adventurous couples or families who do not mind forgoing some luxuries for an incredibly special and bespoke experience. Note that since this camp is not permanent there is not running water. Also, according to Omani law, alcohol can not be served, so guests must purchase alcohol at the airport duty-free and bring to the camp.
