On March 13, the much-anticipated Aman sister brand Janu opened its first property, in Tokyo’s up-and-coming Azabudai Hills neighborhood (another 11 hotels are in development). Offering a younger, more dynamic, connection-focused experience—at a more approachable price point—Janu Tokyo has 122 guest rooms and suites by Jean Michel Gathy, eight venues for dining and socializing and a 43,055-square-foot spa and wellness center (one of Tokyo’s largest).
