Review
Located within the massive San Domenico Golf course, the Masseria Cimino is a charming fifteen-bedroom farmhouse with roots dating back to the 1700s. Surrounded by vegetable gardens and century-old olive trees, Cimino offers fantastic value for guests looking for an authentic masseria ambiance. When it was restored in 2005, the Masseria maintained its original architectural features and certain rooms contain special details such as fireplaces, terraces and balconies. All have basic modern amenities such as air conditioning, marble bathrooms, minibars and flat screen TVs. While guests staying at Cimino do not have reciprocal privileges at Borgo Egnazia (although you can pay a fee to use its beach clubs) or Masseria San Domenico, the property itself has its own restaurant, bar and lounge, small swimming pool and access to the professional 18-hole San Domenico Golf course.
The room rate at Masseria Cimino includes daily breakfast and dinner. Dinner here is particularly lovely, thanks to the restaurant's seasonal menu that changes daily based on what produce is fresh and in season. While priority is given to hotel guests, the restaurant will accommodate guests staying elsewhere for a candlelit dinner, based on availability (Contact Indagare to book.).
Who Should Stay
The property’s simple, authentic ambiance is a perfect blend for families and laid-back couples looking for a great value alternative.
