Review
On an unassuming street in the Back Bay, Raffles Boston was the brand’s first foray in North America. The elegant, refined property artfully blends Boston history with Raffles’ quintessential Asian design and high-touch service. While walking distance to Trinity Church, the shops on Newbury Street and Beacon Hill, Raffles Boston is an oasis away from the city. Upon entering the hotel, guests are whisked up to reception on the 17th floor where they discover an inspiring 3-story floating staircase overflowing with flowers, sweeping city views in the floor-to-ceiling windows in both Long Bar and Amar (Portuguese-inspired fare from chef George Mendes) and a cozy writer’s lounge, all creating an aura of worldly sophistication. Add in Café Pastel for morning pastries, a 213-foot lap pool, Guerlain Spa, La Padrona from award winning Chef Jody Adams, and Blind Duck for a late night speakeasy…and you might choose to never leave the hotel.
