Located in the Mara Reserve on the Sand River, Sala’s Camp offers direct access to the incredibly game-rich Masai Mara. The camp’s seven tented villas are large, with private outdoor spaces and plunge pools. The décor is simple and comfortable, with wood floors and rafters, metal accents and pops of color. The property also has a curio shop, small gym and massages that can be set up in guest rooms.
Game drives at Sala’s are shared, and activities such as off-roading, nighttime game drives and walking safaris are not allowed. Guests can access the property through Keekerok airstrip, which is a 30-minute drive from the property.
Note: Sala’s Camp is closed during April, May and part of November due to heavy rains.
