Occupying a large building across from the Vistula River and a short walk from Wawel Castle, the Sheraton Grand Krakow is a great option for families staying in Krakow, as it is much larger than the city’s quiet boutique hotels. The hotel has 232 rooms, all of which are centered around a glass-covered atrium. While the public spaces are a little outdated, the rooms are fresh, modern and very comfortable. The club rooms and suites are the best accommodations, many of which offer beautiful views of the river and Wawel Castle.
While guests will probably not eat on property, the Sheraton Grand Krakow does have four restaurants, including a rooftop terrace. Additional amenities include an indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and a rather large gym (compared to the other hotels in Krakow).
