Review
Renowned Spanish designer Pilar Garcia-Nieto has artfully repurposed a 16th-century rustic stone trough and an olive oil mill, to create the latest gem in the Unico Hotels portfolio. Located in a 350-acre nature preserve in the Tramuntana Mountains, the estate is dotted with ancient almond and olive trees, fragrant lavender and expansive trails. The Lodge has two villas, 6 guest rooms inside the main farmhouse and 18 suites—some with private pools or gardens—dispersed throughout the vast property. The suites are large and minimal, decorated in earth tones to commune with the landscape. Guests of the hotel’s Singular Restaurant can eat fire-cooked meats and fish outside on the leafy terrace overlooking the infinity pool. Because reconnecting with nature is at the core of The Lodge experience, there is an outdoor gym and sauna as well as complimentary yoga and a spa with massage, facial and body treatments.
