The hotel comprises four beautifully restored heritage buildings from the early 1900s, once home to the city’s cruise terminal, passport control center and maritime administrative offices. Spanning 820 feet of waterfront in the historic Karaköy district, The Peninsula Istanbul is just a short walk from the sites (and magic) of the Old Town, without staying in the center of the action. 

Celebrated Turkish interior designer Zeynep Fadıllıoğlu and art consultant Çağla Saraç had a vision of fresh, modern interiors while paying homage to the building’s roots and maintaining a strong sense of place.
