Review
This exquisite boutique country hotel located halfway between Catania and Taormina with convenient access to Mt. Etna is a small oasis in a sea of orange trees. The main building was painstakingly converted from its former use as wine-producing warehouse to offer just 10 contemporary rooms in the main house and garden. Marvel at the exposed arched ceilings in the dining room as well as the massive horizontal wine press original to the building. While the rooms and grounds are nice, meals are hands-down the showstoppers, beginning with one of the best breakfast spreads in Sicily. Dinner doesn’t just pack a heavy punch – every bite is a knockout.
Who Should Stay
Couples seeking a quiet, intimate setting as well as members who will enjoy relaxing by the pool, picking oranges right off the trees, and spending downtime away from noise and crowds.
