Apple’s Bar and Grill

Located at the base of Bald Mountain in the village of Warm Springs, Apple’s Bar and Grill has a relaxed ambiance that has made it the locals’ preferred après-ski hangout. Cozy and congenial, it is run by bartenders seemingly on first-name basis with everyone. The walls relate a history of sportsmanship through old skis, jerseys and photographs of famous racers. Apple’s is also a good spot for a casual lunch, thanks to its famous sandwiches, like Bill’s Burger, named for the original owner’s father and made with a delicious sauce (a secret recipe, of course), and sesame-seared ahi on a bun.
