Bakers Michelle Rizzollo and Raquel Bagatini and chef Eric Piacentine love the wilderness, claiming that it helps them focus on the purity of creating great food. While Big Sur Bakery is best known for its innovative breakfast pizza and delicious sandwiches on freshly baked bread, dinners showcase the culinary team’s passion for seasonal comfort cuisine that makes the most of California’s bounty, such as grilled sourdough toast, corn puddin’ with smoked trout roe and wood-fired local white sea bass topped with wild fennel butter.
