Bocca Coffee

Pioneers of the specialty coffee industry in the Netherlands, Menno and Tewis Simons began roasting beans in their garage in the early 2000s, and quickly grew into one of the largest coffee supplies in the country. In 2014, Bocca was named best European Artisan Coffee Roaster at the European Coffee Awards, and in 2015, the brothers opened their flagship café in the Jordaan neighborhood. The duo, however, has stayed true to their roots; the tasting, training and showroom is located in a former industrial garage. The airy space, featuring lots of cement and blond wood furnishings, boasts plenty of room to lounge, so patrons can unwind while enjoying some of the best coffee in Amsterdam.
