This sleek scene with its modelesque waiters and massive fashion photos by Richard Avedon and Irving Penn is a joint venture between Vogue magazine and the city’s Restaurant Tsar. It draws models and moguls from morning until evening, since it is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu mixes Russian dishes with Italian and sushi options and the macaroons in the glass cases in the front room are perfectly Parisian.
