Café al Bicerin

Café Al Bicerin, Piazza della Consolata, Turin, Metropolitan City of Turin, Italy

See Website

Founded in 1763, this retro café still has its original furnishings and serves its namesake hot drink, the Bicerin: a tall glass of carefully layered espresso, molten chocolate and cream. Each layer is meant to be enjoyed on its own. The drink was developed as a Red Bull of sorts for soldiers, and is heavily caffeinated (don’t drink too late in the day!). Café al Bicerin is a must try in Turin.
