CT Coffee & Coconuts

Behind its towering Art Deco façade, CT Coffee & Coconuts is a bustling, three-story café/hangout space that teems with De Pijp locals from open to close. Located in a former 1920s cinema, the hipster watering hole is decorated with earthy furnishings from Sukha, rustic wood floors, tan canvas couches and ample communal tables, where creatives work throughout the day. The first-floor café offers a small selection items for sale (such as cookbooks and raw chocolates) as well as coffee and tea, whereas the two upper levels function more like a restaurant, with a large menu featuring healthy and seasonal fare. The all-day breakfast, with its scrambled eggs avo and açaí bowl, is popular, but those looking for something more inventive can opt for savory delights like the Dirty Ducks black pepper buns (steamed buns with duck and black peppercorn). The perfect way to end a meal at CT is with Monique’s unique brownie, baked with walnuts and soft ganache.
