Open since 1975, Da Fortunato has long been a favorite thanks its old-world atmosphere, terrace that offers views of the Pantheon and classic Roman fare. The eatery is known for its large menu of traditional dishes including fritto misto, baked Roman artichokes, gnocchi ragu, spaghetti carbonara, Florentine t-bone steak, grilled lobster and more, all of which the sommelier can pair with one of the more than 450 wines on offer. The wood-paneled dining rooms are great during the winter, but be sure to request a table on terrace, which has big white umbrellas, during the warmer months.
