Drogheria Franci

Drogheria means grocery and this shop once sold provisions for the town, but it has since been turned into a charming, contemporary restaurant facing the Montalcino fortress and next door to a very impressive wine cellar. The space, which features walls of wine bottles and blackboards with the daily specials, feels light and modern compared to many of the other restaurants in town. The chef focuses on seasonal ingredients and puts a fresh spin on traditional Tuscan cuisine. It is a casual spot with delicious food and a great wine list.
